Peter Edley

Bio

I grew up and live in Sheffield, went to Manchester to study computer science, whilst at Manchester I felt called in to full time ministry working with Children. After leaving Manchester I got a job working in a shop to help pay for a 1 year course with Children Worldwide the course was called Future Builders, this was a unique one year course in children's ministry, I spent much of the year working with many members of Children Worldwide along side having regular lectures on various aspects of children's work.

After finishing Future Builders I spent 12 years in full time itinerant ministry travelling the country working with many children from many different backgrounds, as well as visiting many local schools in the Sheffield area. One of these schools then invited me to go and work with them 1 day a week running what I would call extended assemblies, this meant doing an assembly that would last the full length of a lessson, 6 months after this their ICT teacher left and they offered me anouther day a week teaching ICT.

After working for a few years 2 days at Handsworth Christian School and the rest of my time as a member of Children Worldwide, the school then offered me a full time post as Assistant Headteacher.

I know work 5 days a week at the school and spend many weekends and evenings working with children in many different parts of the country, as well as being involved in Impact and Kids Club at Meadowhead Christian Fellowship. I also spend some of my time developing websites for many different people and organisations (see below).
